History of Pudtol, Apayao

Spanish Era

Pudtol was once the site of a Spanish garrison and mission station, established to spread Christianity and maintain control in Apayao. The remnants of the old Spanish church still stand today as a historical landmark.

Municipality Establishment (1959)

On June 22, 1959, Pudtol officially became a municipality through Republic Act No. 1892. It was carved out of the municipality of Kabugao, marking the beginning of its local governance.

Today, Pudtol thrives as one of the municipalities of Apayao, known for its rich culture, natural beauty, and strong community values. It continues to preserve its history while embracing modern development.

Visitors can conveniently request visits online and receive notifications via email, while offices are instantly notified of new requests. The system also provides QR code-based check-in and check-out features, improving security and monitoring of visitors.

Administrators have access to reports and analytics to track daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly visitor statistics, ensuring transparency and efficiency in visitor management.
